The IB is intense. We’ve been through it. The pressure. The late-night study sessions. The constant
balancing act between coursework, deadlines, and keeping it together. When we graduated from
BIS in 2022, it was a proud and emotional moment for us. BIS had been our home for years. It
pushed us, shaped us, and left us with friendships and memories we’ll always carry. But it also left
us with one big idea.

What if every student had someone to guide them who had sat in the same seats and understood
not just the content but the IB itself?

We know the questions students ask because we asked them too:
Should I finish my IA or study for tomorrow’s test?
Do predicted grades matter as much as people say?
How do I stay on top of everything without burning out?

While BIS teachers are incredible, sometimes students need support from someone who once
stood in their shoes. I still remember sitting in math class, feeling stuck. My teacher was great. I
even had a tutor. But he hadn’t done the IB. He knew the material, but not the feeling. That gap
made all the difference, and that’s what inspired us to create Differentiate.

Differentiate is a tutoring platform run by IB graduates for current IB students. Many of our tutors
are BIS alumni. All of them scored 6 or 7 in the subjects they teach. We focus on one thing: helping
students succeed with targeted, personal support.

We break things down. We teach strategy. We build confidence with real past paper practice.
Whether it’s essay writing, Extended Essay planning, or cracking IB Biology, our tutors tailor each
session to the student’s needs.

We also offer a free consultation. It’s a simple way to connect, ask questions, and find out what
support might help the most.
